THE DARKROOM
We have a 5 enlarger darkroom available for public hire, solo or group bookings are welcome. We use LPL enlargers, and our hire includes the use of high quality chemicals (developer, stop bath and fixer). In the darkroom, if you don't fancy enlarging, we have facilities for you to develop your own black and white film (35mm and 120). We also have contact printers ready for you to use while enlarging. Paper wise, we will have a range of different papers and sizes for sale, but you are welcome to bring your own, we recommend ILFORD paper for great results.
At this point in time we only offer black and white enlarging, we hope to offer colour in the future.. stay tuned!
Pricing for the darkroom starts at just $25 per hour, with chemicals included. Discounts apply for 3+ hours and group bookings.
Darkroom memberships
Darkroom memberships are a great investment if you are an avid darkroom user, or want to up skill, and spend a lot of time in the darkroom. For $60 a month, you get unlimited darkroom access (during open hours, after hours by appointment and subject to staff availability), your membership includes use of chemicals each session. Your membership also includes 5 hours cyclorama wall usage per month, and a 10% discount on any film lab services. Minimum sign up term is 2 months. Cancel anytime after this, this membership is charged month to month, and payment plans can be discussed.
